What was once simply a tool for the purposes of determining how many representatives each state could have to send to Washington has now turned into invasive and political weapon. The constitution required that every ten years a head count be taken and nothing more than a head count. I, like most Americans did their civic duty and filled out these forms without ever wondering why these questions were necessary or ever knowing it’s original and only intended purpose. Is the information we give out really protected like they say? Can we trust the stranger that comes to the door to ask you questions as an honest and law abiding citizen? What is the need for the use of GPS devices when the census taker is at your door? If you turn away this person for whatever reason will this be interpreted incorrectly by the census taker? Why is it required that we state our ethnicity? Why does the census need to know if you own outright or rent your home or if you live there for free? Why is important to know if a Hispanic person is of Latino,Hispanic or Spanish origin? In fact why is it necessary for persons 1 through 6 to fill out these questions and from persons 7 to 12, the census only requires sex,age,birth date, and relation to person #1? The census, in it’s present form, based on the type of questions can only be used for political purposes . Prior census consisted of many more intrusive questions about our lives and contained as many as 50 or more questions. This is in total contrast to the original reason the census was taken. So why was it necessary to know this information? The government is not supposes to keep files on it’s citizens. This is a way to do just that while making it appear to be okay to give the govt this information. Now we have just 10 questions to fill out and it’s mainly about ethnicity and occupancy. Why did we go to so few questions in 2010? Now that we are in the digital age the questions about all other topics in previous census’s can be obtained legally via the ” Patriot Act ” through companies like CACI,SAIC, Wal-Mart, and scores of other companies. It is legal for the federal government to purchase this and all other data collected by these firms not by collecting this data on it’s own.
Since the U.S. govt already has this information at the I.R.S. why is the census even needed? The very design of the 2010 census lends itself to massive data manipulation. It is a tool used for nothing more than to alter the geopolitical landscape of America. Do we really need more representation in Washington or just better and more honest representation? It is so important to Washington that we all fill out the census forms or you will receive phone calls,visits from census takers, and a possible $500.00 fine for falsifying information. If you only fill out the information needed, as the constitution stipulates, and only fill in the ” head count ” you could be considered a ” subversive ” since DHS thinks anyone who believes in the constitution is a potential domestic terrorist. We no longer live in a free or private society it is only the perception that we do.
Now the 2010 census is under the complete control of the White house. With all of the frustration from the nation being felt by the Obummer administration it is not surprising that this move was made. It’s obvious that this only about politics or I should say money. Call, write, or e-mail your representatives in Washington about the invasion of privacy the census really is and to stick to the mandates of the constitution regarding the original intent of the census.
Why are there so many corporate sponsors for the census? Is the federal government unable to pay for the census? This is highly unlikely so why do corporations need to sponsor this? Corporations already have huge amount of personal data on us from millions of electronic transactions so what do they gain from this? After some thought there is only one conclusion that fits the question. That is the power to influence the manipulation of data obtained from the 2010 census for monetary purposes. Billions of dollars will be allocated to various regions of the country for highway construction and various other programs. The sponsoring corporations will benefit from these funds as well. This is clearly evident in the case of the auto bailout. Labor unions were given preferential treatment because of donations to the Obummer presidential campaign. Corporations clearly want to dictate where the money will be spent so it’s spent for their gain.
