I have been a fan of Mel Gibson for years and yeah I think when he was younger he was OK looking. But unfortunately for him I think, he has lost it. He is 54 yrs old and has been acting since 1976 in “The Sullivan” that’s a long time, but I think he has finally lost his appeal, I can not say his acting ability cause I have not seen his latest movie but his recent interview with Jay Leno was not the best. It’s been reported that Billy Corgan, the lead singer/songwriter/guitarist for the alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins has been busy in the studio working on a duet with pop star Jessica Simpson. All I can say to that is “WTF?” You have got to be kidding me. These two go together like oil and water. I mean, yeah, Pumpkins fans have been a little disappointed as the band hasn’t really been putting out many hits lately, but did he have to go and do a duet with her? She IS the same Jessica Simpson that thinks that Chicken Of The Sea is really chicken, which was witnessed on her short-lived reality show on her marriage to Nick Lachey. At first, I kinda liked watching the show, always finding something to laugh about with her ditzy ways and the fact that she was pleasing to the eye. I saw today on www.contactmusic.com that 50 Cent “could care less” about the Grammy Awards. I say, “Good for him.” He’s right, the Grammys are rigged, in my opinion. The more money you give the radio stations, the more they’ll play your song. The more the radio stations play your song, the more popular you get. The more popular you get, the more awards that you receive. It’s not just about talent anymore. It’s ALL ABOUT MONEY! Money makes the world go around. If you have it, you’re golden.
