Saw this video on YouTube of some funny home videos. Just thought I’d share it with everyone, we could all use a good laugh sometimes, right? The golf bloopers are the best. Read More.....
OK , my 6 yr old has a phone, yes she is kind of young to have one but none the less she does(her uncle loves her very much). She is so funny, she is out playing and she gets hurt so she calls me to tell me about it. I tell her to come home and she says “No its ok.” Then why call me? I guess she just wants that simpathy which I think is rather funny for the moment. I do know however it will not be funny for very long but for right now it is. Plus, the way I also think of it is that right now she wants mom and dad and I know before I know it she will not want us. Same with her little sister, I can not wait til she starts school, but I also know I need to appreciate this time I have with her before it is all gone. Read More.....

I wanted to take this time to thank our Creator, for giving two very intelligent, very different, and very beautiful daughters. I don’t think I could have asked for a better set of girls. My oldest daughter is 13, and in the 8th grade. Every day is a new drama in the day in the life of a teenager, and every day she has a new story to tell. She can be very dramatic, but that is what makes her Sera. I have never seen a 13 year-old get so excited over a new school bus….lol. She is also the creative one, with an eye like her momma. She picked up a pen correctly when she was 9 months old and drew a very detailed picture of me. Well, it was very detailed for a drawing done by a 9 month old…and you could see that it was a person. Anyway, she has always been very intelligent, and at the top of her class. She maintains good grades, and reads at college level. She loves to read, and read, but not so much that she can’t enjoy other activities like basketball, drama, and just being a kid outdoors. She likes to write, and I can’t believe she is mine, because she could turn this post into something beautiful. Her use of words is amazing, and I could see her someday writing a book. She is a good kid, and never really gives me any problems, except for yelling too much and fighting with her 11-year-old brother. I love to see her smile. She is absolutely beautiful both inside and out, and yet she is very modest, and innocent in a way. The best part about her is that, she is 13, and she still likes to snuggle, hug, give me kisses, and she always says “I love you”. I love that more than she will ever know. Read More.....
For a change, today I spent a little time watching TV. No, not the usual Nickelodeon that the kids watch on the big TV, I decided to take some time for myself, so I went upstairs to our bedroom and had a little bit of private time. And boy, I’m glad that I did. I surfed through the channels, finally ending up on CMT as Extreme Makeover-Home Edition was just starting. For those of you that aren’t familiar with the show, they take good, decent families that are having some sort of unfortunate times in their lives, and build them a brand new home to show that their good deeds don’t go un-noticed.
