Being a recent victim myself, I wanted to take this time to write about computer viruses. It seems as though my wife unknowingly infected the computer with a virus by clicking on a message that was sent by one of her friends on Facebook. That’s the most logical answer that I can come up with. She received a message from a friend saying that they also knew so-and-so (mutual Facebook friend) and that the person helped them with making some money online, with a link attached to such. When the link was clicked, nothing happened, so my wife just closed out of it, thinking that it was just a bad link or something. I noticed around the same time that the computer started acting funny, but didn’t think anything of it, especially after running my anti-virus software with negative results for any virus. Sorry, but there won’t be a new post from me today, as my computer seems to have picked up a virus. I’m busy trying to get the problem resolved, and hope to be up-and-running again tomorrow. Thanks for checking in with me!
