I have been a fan of Mel Gibson for years and yeah I think when he was younger he was OK looking. But unfortunately for him I think, he has lost it. He is 54 yrs old and has been acting since 1976 in “The Sullivan” that’s a long time, but I think he has finally lost his appeal, I can not say his acting ability cause I have not seen his latest movie but his recent interview with Jay Leno was not the best. Yes I know he had just quit smoking 18 days before but still he has to remember he wants us to go see his movie not scare us away.
To me he was a little scarey with the ear plug thing at night with his little girl. He also just seemed really on edge and jumpy in the interview. Not relaxed and inviting like I think it should be when you want people to like you and see your movie that just came out. But, that is just me. I did however really enjoy his movie What Woman Want which came out in 2000. I just expect a lot from an actor who has been around for a long time. I would prefer him to be classy, down to earth and all there if you know what I mean.
But whatever the case maybe his newest movie does not look that great so I will probably wait until it comes out on Netflix to watch it. Yes I know as one gets older they do start to lose some of their skills maybe he has.
