What A Wonderful Universe We Live In

I don’t know if I’m the only one that thinks like this, but we live in an awesome universe.  There are so many things out there that we are not even close to understanding, yet some people think that they do.  Our universe is so large that it’s incomprehensible to me, and what’s to say that we aren’t alone?  There could be other places, just like ours or similar, that are just too far away to get to with the technology that we currently have.  But that doesn’t mean that they’re not out there.  In my opinion, every living thing is connected by the same energy source, we just “borrow” the energy from a higher source.  I believe that when our time is up, our “energy” leaves its host (our bodies) and goes on to the next host.  Kinda sounds alien-like, but if you think about it, maybe we are the aliens.  Maybe we were put on this planet by something else in order to evolve.  Sounds kinda “out there,” but have you ever thought about how the ancient people, like the Mayans, knew so much about astronomy?  They didn’t have the tools or technology, but were masters in it.  They also built their buildings almost on a perfect north-south axis… with no compasses.  The ancient Egyptians were the same way… Look at the Great Pyramids.  All too often, I think that we tend to take everything for granted, and forget about all that is important to us.  We are all connected, and we live in an awesome universe.  So let’s start living like it.  I found this video at www.break.com of a 15-hour time lapse video of the Milky Way Galaxy.  It’s very impressive, and thought that you would enjoy it!
